The Creative Process - Art & Copy
Art & Copy.................directed by Doug Pray
This film looks at the best and the brightest in the field of advertising.
In this, his second entry into the Sundance Film Festival, Doug Pray
looks at advertising as a real craft. He says that when you remove the
commerce from it advertising is the same as any other art.
It is meant to move the observer and grab their attention.
Like any artform including, writing, design, film production, painting, music, he
says the goal is to refine it until the core concept or message is condensed down
to the simplest form.
